Gefion Bryghus – World class mead brewed by hand Gefion Bryghus is a passionate nano brewery from Røgen, where we brew modern mead with Danish honey, patience, and respect for traditions. We combine ancient brewing techniques with a sustainable approach and carefully select ingredients from small, local producers.
Our mead is known for its distinct flavor and versatility – perfect as an apéritif, with dinner, or as a sweet companion to cheese and dessert. Each bottle is aged for at least 10 months, so the natural flavor nuances of the honey are developed to perfection.
The person behind the brewery is brewmaster Benny Præstegaard, who makes mead with passion and precision. Come and taste our unique, hand-brewed mead – a tribute to tradition and innovation!
